A male Eurasian Wigeon was discovered on Monday, March 14th and remains today (Tues) on a flooded pond just south of Orrville, OH in Wayne County. At least 15 other species of waterfowl are present on the pond along with Greater Yellowlegs and pipits. Yesterday 60 Tundra Swans were present but have not been relocated today. The location is the very west end of Church Road right were Church Road ends at a 90 degree bend to the north becoming South Crown Hill Road. This is west of State Rt 57 and just west of where McQuid Road T's into Church Road from the south. The pond lies on the south side of Church Road. There is a small pull-off at the end of an old driveway but this is one of those locations to be respectful of both traffic and private property.
