Greetings all, Just returned from a quick jaunt through parts of Killbuck Marsh WA and Shreve Lake. The prize of the day was a Shrike (northern perhaps) located on Cemetery road to the right (south?) of the large body of water in some trees that border the water and the field. This is a life bird for me which is pretty exciting! Here is a link to the pics on my FB page: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=114939&id=1497543395&l=490e8f37ec If I'm wrong about the ID, please let me know! Other birds at Cemetery Road include: Tree Swallows Ruddy ducks Swan (too far to ID) Buffleheads Ringneck ducks Scoups Sandill cranes (heard) Shreve Lake Buffleheads Cormorants - 7 Pond Located on CR 51 at the railroad tracks Hooded mergansers. It's a great day for birding! Cheers!
