I stopped by O'Shaughnessy Reservoir this evening around 7pm. In
addition to the expected species on the water, there were 130+ Turkey
Vultures piling into the group of conifers at the south west corner of
the reservoir. No Black Vultures were noticed.

I was also treated to a large number of Bonaparte's Gulls that flew in
from the west. I wanted to check the flock for Little Gulls (no luck)
so I drove up the lake to intercept them, counting 147 individuals and
no doubt missing a few. Not sure if they'll stick around or continue
north.

Good birding,
Paul Hurtado
