The Lake County Redpoll was seen throughout the day today. It was seen from 7:00- 4:00. I think that everybody that came got to see it. Unlike yesterday it was not constantly at the feeders. It seemed to show up about once an hour. Again, it is not utilizing the hanging feeders. Instead it feeds on the ground directly below the hanging sunflower feeder that is hanging off the wooden post. It is best observed by going by the large spruce tree west of the house and watching the feeders and the ground. If the bird is found tomorrow I'll post it. I have posted a few shots of some of the interesting common redpolls that have been here over the last couple days. http://www.rarebird.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5485&PID=16451#16451 John Pogacnik 4765 Lockwood Road Perry, OH 44081 (440) 259-2751 ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
