The pair of horned larks along the main path to the marsh were seen as usual, 2 c. geese, 13 ring necked, 3 buffel head, 2 mallards, 1 coot ,2 scaup and the 2 red-tails in the air together with several TV's overhead also. Then out of the stand of evergreen trotted a coyote across the winter wheat field. He waited in the opposite hedge row looking back and out came 3 deer at a trot. Kind of fun being the 3rd observer---we all went our own way  See you on the trail, J
