Eurasian Wigeon: Discovered on 14 Mar in a flooded pond south of Orrville, Wayne County. The bird remains through 20 Mar (mult. obs.). Another appeared on 17 Mar at pond 27 at Killdeer Plains (Dan Sanders). White-winged Scoter: One female was reported at Delaware Reservoir among scaup through 19 Mar (mult. obs.). One was also at the upground reservoir at Killdeer Plains on 20 Mar (Bruce Simpson and Bill Kinkead). Red-throated Loon: One basic-plumaged bird was seen on 15 Mar at Pine Lake (Craig Holt). American White Pelican: Up to three were reported from Cowan Lake through 20 Mar (mult. obs.). Two were reported on 16 Mar at a gravel pit south of Nelsonville in Athens County (Joe Hazelbaker). Five were present at Buck Creek SP on 17-20 Mar (Mike Hatfield and others). Yet another was seen at pond 27 at Killdeer Plains on 19 Mar (Andy Sewell and Paul Gardner). Iceland Gull: One flew by the residence of John Pogacnik in Lake County on 20 Mar. Great Black-backed Gull: A 4th year subadult was discovered on 16 Mar at Delaware Reservoir (Sean Williams). Lesser Black-backed Gull: A full breeding plumaged adult was found on 16 Mar at Delaware Reservoir (Sean Williams). Northern Shrike: One remained at Killdeer Plains 16 and 18 Mar (Doreen Linzell and Charlotte Mathena). Another was along Cemetery Road at Killbuck Marsh SP on 20 Mar (Michele Skolmutch) COMMON RAVEN: The Common Raven in Knox County continues to be seen on and off. Reported areas are College Rd. x Koppert Rd., and in the nearby area along Reed Rd.
