Hi Everyone, Beth and I went down to the lake for a quick look this morning. Although the variety of ducks was not as great for us as was reported yesterday, and we did not get the Glaucous Gull, it was a good visit. In brilliant sunshine and gold temperatures we had: Turning basin‹between Dike 14 and the 72nd Street marina: The Eared Grebe, as reported by Jen and others Red-Breasted Mergansers‹many hundreds. We saw some nice courtship displays.
