There's been a northern mockingbird coming into the yard here since last fall, though it was sporadic at first it now comes every morning and chirps loudly just as it's getting light, yesterday in the snow it hung out in the bushes with cardinals and gobs of feeder birds. It's almost like having a pet, when I go out to check it out it usually just hangs around or moves to the wild grapes still hanging from last year on the side of the house. A birder friend suggested that they are probably full of alcohol by now so maybe that's the attraction. Got a couple nice close shots here: http://www.pbase.com/tileman533/2011&page=7 Denny McDonnell Euclid ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
