I went to Villa/Angela State Parks in Cleveland today from 5 to 7pm. It was approx 46 degrees, overcast, 18-20 mph NE to NNE winds Will mention just a few of birds seen. Wood Duck 1 male (Villa Angela woods) Pied-billed Grebe 2 - Wildwood Euclid Creek Horned Grebes 2 - Wildwood Euclid Creek Great Blue Heron 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers 1 (many must of left from Sunday?) Northern Flickers 7 Hairy Woodpecker 1m VA Brown Creepers 10 Golden-crowned Kinglets 5 or so Ruby-crowned Kinglets 2 Hermit Thrush 12 Gray Catbird 1 VA (only third one I have seen since 3/5 & 3/19) Northern Mockingbird - 1 (this one across Euclid Creek near Lakeshore parking lot) Brown Thrasher 1 VA near lake/mobile home park fenceline Song Sparrows - 5-6, Fox Sparrows 4-5 (didn't notice as much) White-throated Sparrow 1 VA (have not been seen much here yet) White-crowned Sparrow 1st winter 1 still singing in VA Dark-eyed Junco 7-8 Also, in my post from 4/10 I said the female Long-tailed Duck was 22" from me, it was 22 feet. Also, I forgot to mention I flushed an American Woodcock in Villa Angela on 4/10. My Long-tailed Duck picture was one of my better pictures with my inferior old camera.
