In the drizzle, saw my first 2 warblers of the year! Also, flying insects must be non-existant due to the rain since there were more swallows in the trees than flying over the lake. Photos (not great, bad light and just a point and shoot camera) show what I found. Good day for wildflowers though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/christinemcanlis/sets/72157626430769125/ Location: Hubbard Valley Park Observation date: 4/22/11 Number of species: 21 Canada Goose 3 Lesser Scaup 12 Mourning Dove 3 Downy Woodpecker 1 Northern Rough-winged Swallow 3 Tree Swallow 12 Barn Swallow 12 Black-capped Chickadee 2 Tufted Titmouse 3 American Robin 30 Yellow-rumped Warbler 5 Pine Warbler 1 Chipping Sparrow 2 Song Sparrow 2 White-throated Sparrow 1 Dark-eyed Junco 4 Northern Cardinal 5 Red-winged Blackbird 12 Eastern Meadowlark 1 Brown-headed Cowbird 1 American Goldfinch 1 This report was generated automatically by eBird v2(http://ebird.org) ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
