* The activity slowed down today compared with the past two days, but there were still some good birds to be found. Like Hooded and KY warblers, Virginia rail, Sandhill cranes (hopefully nesting somewhere in the marsh) Sora and the Screech owls. And it was a good day to be OUTSIDE> * Tri Colored Heron remains at Metzgers Marsh and a Wild Turkey was seen there also! * Rumors of a red-headed woodpecker near the wildlife beach, but no confirmation. * Tomorrows weather looks good and hopefully a few more birds will come in tonite. Coffee and donuts tomorrow at the Bird Center. Happy Birding Mary L. Warren Wildlife Communications Specialist Magee Marsh Wildlife Area 13229 W.
