If your not familiar with Rowland Nature Preserve its a relatively new tract of public land in Elyria Township. The park is located at 7475 Murray Ridge Road, Rowland has 58 acres of woodland habitat and a 12 acre lake. Today was my first visit to Rowland Nature Preserve, it appears to still be in development and under construction. The trails through the preserve were quite birdy this afternoon, short distance migrants were ample. 39 species total.
