Surf Scoter: Two were present at Sippo Lake in Canton on 13 Apr (Terry and Barb Sponseller). Red-necked Grebe: One was seen from Harveysburg Rd at Caesar Creek SP on 16-17 Apr (Rick Asamoto and mult. obs). Eared Grebe: One was seen from Harveysburg Rd at Caesar Creek SP on 16-17 Apr (Rick Asamoto and mult. obs). American White Pelican: Two were seen at Ottawa NWR on 12 Apr. Snowy Egret: One was present at Englewood Metropark on 11 Apr (mult. obs.). Cattle Egret: One was seen on the east end of Pleasant Hill Lake in Richland Co. on 12 Apr (Gary Cowell). Another was seen in Darke Co. at the Shawnee Prairie Preserve on 12 Apr (Regina Schieltz). Northern Goshawk: One juvenile was seen in Perry, Lake Co. on 11 Apr (John Pogacnik). Golden Eagle: One flew right over Jen Brumfield on 13 Apr at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Cleveland. American Avocet: A large flock of 57 was seen in Ottawa Co. in the marshes along Muddy Creek Bay (Patrick Johnson, Bob Riggs, and Annie Lindsay). Laughing Gull: One was seen on the beach of Caesar Creek SP on 16 Apr EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE: One stopped by the residence of John Pogacnik briefly in Lake Co. on 15 Apr. HARRISıS SPARROW: Still present through 13 Apr, visiting a feeder at 9041 Bear Hollow Rd in Applecreek. Birders welcome. Yellow-headed Blackbird: One was seen at a feeder in Fredericksburg on 12 Apr. BULLOCKıS ORIOLE: An adult male Bullockıs Oriole is being seen a mile south of Woodsfield along SR 800.
