I went to Villa Angela State Park in Cleveland today and only briefly was in Wildwood State Parks. I got there after the rain around 10:30am and stayed til 3pm. Here are some of the birds I saw: Green Heron 1 Wildwood Eastern Wood-Pewee 2 (first I have seen here) Willow Flycatcher 1 Least Flycatchers 3 Great Crested Flycatchers 3 Warbling & Red-eyed Vireos Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Barn Swallows many Veery 2 Swainson's Thrush 10-12 Wood Thrush 2 Cedar Waxwings 30-35 gang of them kept flying thru marina & VA more than I ever see here Warblers: Yellow - many Magnolia 5-6 Black-throated Blue 3 (1m, 2f) Yellow-rumped 1 America Redstart 6-7 Ovenbird 1 seen, heard more MOURNING WARBLER 1 male (not long enough for picture) Common Yellowthroat 5-6 Hooded 1 female (I saw the male in the same place on 5/19) Wilson's 4 Canada 1 Lincoln Sparrow 1 White-crowned Sparrow 2 Orchard Orioles 2 (1st summer male & a female) (saw the 1st summer male on 5/20 for the first time) Baltimore Orioles many The Mourning Warbler was seen west of the birch woods close to mobile home park fenceline as you start to walk from the main Silver Maple woods to the west end of the field north of the library but didn't get that far.
