The Fish Crow was seen and confirmed on Saturday 5-21 as well. Then, at 12:15 I was standing at the "loop" at the extreme west end of the parking lot and the Fish Crow flew directly overhead at a height of about 30 feet, calling as it flew. It called several times as it flew towards me and overhead, and it continued west along the beach and out of sight. This was a single crow, and appeared rather small in size. I remained in the vicinity for about 45 minutes as I ate lunch, and I did not hear or see it again. The call was unmistakable! I hope someone will be able to relocate this bird so it can be appropriately documented! ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
