Birders, Thanks to Richard Banish for getting the initial information out. YES, the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve (formerly known as Dike 14) will have an Open House this Saturday, May 21 beginning at 7:30 AM with guided bird walks OR you can walk the designated trail on your own. YES, birding is supposed to be great this weekend but there are so many other things to see at the Nature Preserve. Please meet at the Cleveland Lakefront State Park office, just to the EAST of the Nature Preserve entrance, to sign a waiver. You may park at the Gordon Park parking lot BUT must go to the Park Office which is up the hill. Hey, birding is great along the fenceline - take advantage of it. Wear footwear that is water/mud proof and I understand ticks are there too but if you stay on the trail there is much less chance for tickage. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
