Went out today with Camera in hand to see what I could see. While the images were terrible...too dark and too cold, the birding was anything but. To add to what I have already reported. Hooded Warbler Blue Winged Warbler (Very fuzzy pictures) Ovenbird Hermit thrush Nashville Warbler Blue headed Vireo...thought it was the Nashville at first :-D American Redstarts are back. Wood Duck Rose Breasted Grosbeak Hose Wrens Black Throated Blue Warbler One bird missing is the Prothonotary, there are some boxes put up for them, but so far no dice. I know that there are some Kenton area birders on the list, and friends of Kenton area birders that can pass it along. I am still checking when I go there...mainly listening :-D. The Blue Winged, Nashville, and the Vireo were all lifers...but are not off my list...not until I get better pics. :-D If someone could please verify these three, I would be grateful. I put pics up in an ugly bird photo gallery: http://sjlarue.smugmug.com/Unsorted/Ugly-Bird-Pics I also have them on Facebook if you are so inclined: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/fbx/?set=a.210485928980606.61699.100000576001754&l=7166acaf50 BTW I am on Facebook, and from time to time I get friend requests from who I think are birders, but I truly don't know. If you are, and you want to friend me, please put something like "Ohio birder" in the comment section, that way, I can tell. Thanks Have a great day, Steve J. sjlarue.smugmug.com Psalm 19:1 (English Standard Version) 1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
