There was a noticeable influx of migrants around my locale in NE Mahoning Co. overnight.  I birded close to the Mahoning R. valley in Struthers, Lowellville, and Poland Twp. this morning.  There were 7 local FOS birds.  Of interest today were:  sharp-shinned hawk, Cooper's hawk, more chimney swifts, e. phoebes, yellow-throated vireo, blue-headed vireo, red-eyed vireo, n. rough-winged swallows, 20 cedar waxwings, blue-winged warbler, 10 yellow warblers, 12 yellow-rumped warblers, black-throated green warbler, Am. redstart, hooded warbler, scarlet tanagers, and purple finch.  Craig
