I had a hour after spending another few hours happily watching the Kirtland's Warbler on Kinnear Rd. So I stopped by Sharon Woods Metro Park and hit the "Oak Openings Trail" and found warbler central. Big flock. At one point I had a nice male CERULEAN Warbler directly infront of my head, only about 8 feet off the ground. I stood there spellbound as it gleaned insects like a champ. Really cool. Very few thrush migrants and not any Empid. Flycatchers to speak of yet, but a few first of season birds.
