2:45 @ Euclid Beach Park 60* sunny but STRONG wind from east/northeast walk started on walk from parking lot near the trailer park north to the beach sidewalk where i turned to the west and went past the high rise apts where i headed down toward the beach (past a feral cat comm), i then stayed along the beach/tree line all the way to the mouth of Euclid Creek. i then headed back west along the sidewalk back to the park where i walked the perimeter back to my truch. walk ended @ 3:30. Barn Swallow - 15+ Tree Swallow - 20+ Chimney Swift - 2 Baltimore Oriole - 2 Veery - 1 Great Blue Heron - 1 Gulls @ Euclid Beach - 50+ (all Ring-billed) Great Crested Cormorant - 1 White-crowned Sparrows - 15+ Northern Rough-winged Swallows - 5-ish Northern Mockingbird - 2 Gulls @ beach just west of Euc Creek 25+ (1 Herring) Hairy Woodpecker - 1 word of the day is WIND tough day for flying for sure! buster ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
