to start i saw 1 Willoughby Hills Bald Eagle just above the nest this afternoon @ 3:25. arrived @ headlands @ 6:40 to 71* to little (if any) wind in the parking lot, there was a slight breeze as i got to the breakwall (east/southeast) Chimney Swift - 7 Gray Catbird - 25+ Song Sparrow - 6 Yellow Warbler - 25+ Baltimore Oriole - 15+ House Wren - 1 American Redstart - 1 Eastern Kingbird - 2 Killdeer - 3 Spotted Sandpiper - 1 Tree Swallow - 6 - (until 8 when a group of 30+ appeared) Barn Swallow - 6 Mallard - 3 Forsters Tern - 1 Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 2 Wilsons Warbler - 2 Northern Flicker - 1 Northern Mockingbird - 1 Eastern Towhee - 1 at 8:20 both Bald Eagles were above the Rt 44 nest buster ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
