I took a walk in some woods out back here in Poland Twp., Mahoning Co. today.  There were some fresh faces since my last visit.  Add in some locals on territories, and it made for a fine morning outing.  Birds included Cooper's hawk, e. wood-pewees, yellow-throated vireo, red-eyed vireo, wood thrushes (counter-singing), Tennessee warbler, chestnut-sided warbler, magnolia warbler, Am. redstart, blackpoll warbler, c. yellowthroat, hooded warblers, e. towhee, scarlet tanager, rose-breasted grosbeaks, and Baltimore oriole.  Winds (what little there was today) have shifted to southerly and will be through Monday it looks like.  Hopefully lots of migrants will be moving in.....Craig
