Woods Road Wetland, that was so productive last year, hasn't been very productive this spring. Today was a little different. around noon today there were
lesser yellowlegs 2
semipalmated plovers 10
1 dunlin
1 peep
This evening I drove past it again and most of the shorebirds were gone, but there was a Common Merganser in nonbreeding plumage. This was about 8:50 pm, and it was starting to get dark, but I couldn't make it into anything else.

Our county list now stands at 176. Not as impressive as Franklin County's, but we have fewer reporters, no big lakes or major rivers, etc.
There are 29 warblers on our list.
