Dear Ohio Birders, Yesterday I had a non-breeding BLACK TERN at Winton Woods Settling Pond in north-central Hamilton county. I was following up on a recent report of an unidentified tern there, and upon arrival, I set up the scope and found it perched on a branch sticking out of the water. I watched it through the scope as it spread its wings before taking flight and feeding over the pond. David A.
