The 2 Piping Plovers were observed by myself and Nan Miller this morning between 7:15 and 8:00 am. Also seen were a Semi-palmated Plover and Least & SemiPalm SP's, SB Dows, a single White-rumped SP and a few Yellowlegs. A curious looking duck was observed on the north side. It was small, dark gray/black, with a white spot on the breast. The bill was black and looked like the bill of a teal. It was only observed for a few seconds (in the scope) before it went into the weeds. See you on the trails, Chris Pierce N.
