The Bellevue ponds along 292 are now down to one pond - only the area to the northwest of the road/rail intersection has water. The southwest quadrant was still damp enough to interest about 75 killdeer and an American pipit. The water's edge had more killdeer, many least sandpipers, a few pectoral sandpipers, two spotted sandpipers, two short-billed dowitchers, at least 30 yellowlegs (both greater and lesser) and two more pipits.
