Shorebirding at Lorain has been steady, but fairly uneventful overall in recent days.  Small #'s of expected species have come & gone, but alas none too noteworthy despite fairly strong NW winds along the lakeshore today.  Conditions here, however, look to only get better as we wind into August - the strong thunderstorms we've had in recent weeks have sustained the habitat, and there are spots holding water of various depths and some nice flats.

In other news, two Willets passed our place along the lakeshore yesterday afternoon heading in the firection of Lorain.  Obvious Yellow Warbler migration has been prevalent here over the past few days.  And finally, a Northern Harrier passed over S.R. 83 at the Grafton Correctional Facility (Lorain Co.) on Fri.

Good birding -
