I made a trip out to Slate Run Metro Park this morning in a surprisingly
thick fog, and was rewarded with an extended viewing of the family of
sandhill cranes in residence there.

There were also lots of ducks, killdeer, great blue heron, a couple of green
heron, a great egret, and a kingfisher (and, I'm sure, many other birds as
well), but I didn't get any photos of them :)
