I was kayaking up at Hoover Reservoir this morning (Sunday) and came across a Peregrine Falcon sitting in a tree near
the boardwalk. It has a red band with "12 P" imprinted on the band. Below is a link of one of the photos I took.

There is plenty of shorebird habitat along the shores on the north end. There is also an island a couple hundred yards
off the eastern shore north of Pelican Island (which is no longer an island now). Plenty of Great Egrets, Cormorants and
Blue Herons around. I can say that the Killdeer population is strong and healthy. Shorebirds seen were Killdeer, Least
Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers, Pectoral Sandpipers and Semipalmated Sandpipers.

Also spotted 3 Bald Eagles (2 adults and 1 immature).
