We did not find three Buff-breasted Sandpipers, but we did find 3 Pectoral Sandpipers that understandably appear quite buffy in the strong light. No Bairds were present but two White-rumped Sandpipers were present from dawn till 4pm. No Long-billed Dowitchers were present but two juvenile Short-billeds were seen throughout the day. Additional highlights from Lorain included: Common Gallinule, Northern Shoveler, Blue and Green-winged Teal, Sora, Eastern Phoebe, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Sora, and an adult and immature Peregrine Falcon.
