At about 2:15PM this afternoon, I returned along with my wife Denise, to Berlin Reservoir (the Greenbower Road to Price Street Area), where I had previously reported from this morning. The camouflage group were now gone and things seemed peaceful once again. Most of the species seen this morning were once again present, only in less numbers. Additional interesting bird species seen this afternoon were: 2 female Pintails, 3 Sanderlings, and 12 flyover Blue-winged Teals. An additional simple way to access this area is to park along Greenbower Road, go west of SR225 to the sloped open parking area on the right, just before the bridge over the Mahoning River. Walk down to the waters edge and go right following the shoreline all the way to the main body of water. Scope all of the mudflats. For the short walk required the viewing is great.
