Blendon Woods Metro Park Number of birds was VERY low today. However, a bird the size of a great crested flycatcher was seen on top of a large tree in the middle of the field encircled by the front loop of the goldenrod trail. I thought it had a faint mark at the eye, and pale yellow flanks. Pictures taken at 8x and then blown up on the computer show white along the outer edges of the tail. I think the bird could be a western Flycatcher.
