Hello all,
Seen today (Nov 14) at our feeder was one male rose-breasted grosbeak.
This is a late date for them. Also seen on Tappan Lake were three common
loons and about 20 coots. The coots were in a very tight swimming formation
and I wonder if anyone knows why they do that. I thought maybe to an eagle
or other bird of prey they look like one huge bird instead of many small
ones. Anyone know??
