I just visited the site (1:10pm) and was able to snap some photos of
Paul Hurtado's find.  Indeed it looks like a nice adult Ross's Goose
with no evidence of hybridization with Snow Goose.  By that I mean the
bird is small, short-necked, and small-headed; it has a small, short
bill with a straight, vertical bill base, and no sign of dark
tomial/grin patch.  The link below includes eBird checklist, photo,
