Birders, At about 11:45 a.m. the Black-tailed Gull flew in from the direction of the blue buildings and landed in the harbor off Lakeshore Park with about 30 other gulls and spent about 15 minutes bathing, until a duck hunter in a boat scared it back toward the buildings. A birder from New Jersey was there too, and saw it fly in and told me that when it flew back he thought it landed on a building out of sight. -- Allen T.
