I am planning to visit Woodlawn Cemetery for the first time this Sunday and would appreciate any info on birding the area. I am especially interested in locating White-winged Crossbills. I have looked at recent posts on the Toledo Naturalists site and it seems they are often seen near the bridge. Any further tips for spotting them would be appreciated. I would also welcome info on finding other interesting birds like redpolls and merlin. While reading up on Crossbills, I found this great video with slow motion close-ups of their feeding technique _http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/White-winged_Crossbill/videos/nc_ (http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/White-winged_Crossbill/videos/nc) Sheryl Young Sandusky ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
