I have had two messages from a man near Defiance who thinks he is seeing an albino or partial albino Bald Eagle. I left him a message about maybe it was a snowy owl or an albino red tailed hawk. He drives the same route everyday for his job and often sees eagles, but for the past 3 days has observed this "white bird' soaring and roosting. Even though I have not talked to this person, we are only leaving messages back and forth, he seems to know what he was talking about. The only location he gave was along State Rt. 24 in the Defiance area, and on Fox Run Drive. So any of you who live in that neck of the woods...........keep your eyes open and let me know if you see any "white" eagles. Thanks and Happy Birding Mary L.
