Flooded fields near Bellevue: Trumpeter Swan (no yellow lores/rounded back), @100 Mute Swan, several Canada Goose Snow Goose, 10-15 Bufflehead, 1 Horned Lark, lots Ring-necked Duck, 2 Castalia Pond: Added BRANT, feeding with Canada Geese Gadwall Redhead, pair Northern Shoveler, pair Lesser Scaup, pair Ring-billed Gull Mourning Dove Resthaven WA: Added Common Merganser Great Blue Heron Hairy Woodpecker Common Grackle American Robin Carolina Wren American Crow White-breasted Nuthatch European Starling Telephone wires on Rt. 269: Added Red-winged Blackbird (early!) Red-tailed Hawk Old Bay gulf shore: Canvasback (100's) Hooded Merganser, pair Herring Gull Common Goldeneye, 25+ Common Merganser (bright male up close--what a red bill!)
