Greetings all,

This afternoon my wife Carrie called to tell me she had a probable Snowy Owl just outside of the village of Paulding. I dropped what I was doing, grabbed the birding gear, and I was off! Ten minutes later we were both watching the bird through our trusty binoculars. A quick call to Doug and Micki Dunakin brought them on scene as well at approximately five o'clock to share in the owly goodness.

For anyone interested - the bird was seen on the north side of CR144 approximately one half mile east of CR71. For those of you using old Delorme, page 34 around C2 (approximately one inch southeast of C2 actually!). Due to work constraints I will not be able to check on the status of the bird until tomorrow mid-afternoon. If anyone would like further details or directions, feel free to contact me off list.

Happy birding,

Scott and Carrie Myers
