I made a trip up to Hoover Reservoir (NE of Columbus) today to look for a
rumored American White Pelican, but without success.  I and others who have
chased after the reported pelican have only found a distant Mute Swan in
the area where the bird had reportedly been seen.

Other birds of note were a good mix of waterfowl at the north end of
Hoover, a singing WINTER WREN east of the boardwalk parking lot in Galena,
2+ GREATER SCAUP in the Franklin Co. portion of Hoover Reservoir.

Highlights at Greenlawn Cemetery were 2 "RED" FOX SPARROWS seen along the
road while driving out, and at least 1 flyover PINE SISKIN at the
pond/feeders.
