Roger: Many, many red admirals between Lake Erie and Chardon that I can attest to today. Mentor Headlands had some as we enjoyed the brown thrashers, kinglets, white-throated, song, and swamp sparrows, scaup, etc. and the trip back up the hills to Chardon saw many in the air. My yard in Chardon hosted several too. Everywhere I went, I saw the admirals today. Movement or emergence?
