We headed north this afternoon to have a look for the unusual gull at
Conneaut. We did not see it. We did have great looks at a Least Bittern at
the backside of the pool to the east of the platform. We saw 2 Sanderlings
in breeding plumage.
The highlight of the day was a Tri-colored Heron which flew in from the
west at 8:30. It joined the gulls on the sand bar and was still there when
we left at dark.
