If you're in the Magee Marsh area today, Black Swamp Bird Observatory is offering a free songbird banding / migration program that begins at 10:00 AM. It takes place at BSBO under the big white tent. The Observatory's research and education team has been doing programs for school kids all week and they've banded a nice variety of birds in the habitat around our facility, so you're likely to see some cool stuff. These programs are great for families and beginning birders, so bring everyone!
