For those of you in Northeast Ohio like me who can't get to Magee this week, this is a great little park! The indigo buntings and redstarts stay all summer and are very easy to spot. From 6:30 to 8:30am: Blue-winged warbler (one in same spot last 3 years) Yellow warbler Common Yellowthroat Magnolia warbler (a first for me after 3 years of birding this park) Scarlet Tanager (several heard- one seen) American Redstart(several) Rose Breasted Grosbeak Indigo Buntings Yellow Rumped Warbler American Goldfinch Blue- gray gnatcatchers Sparrows I haven't learned to identify Cowbird Catbirds I heard several Hooded Warblers but they were in the more heavily wooded area and I couldn't spot them. The fog made it pretty dark in there. ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
