Dowitchers (14) were feeding in the marsh at Frohring Meadows late this
afternoon.

I would assume they are short billed dowitchers, since they are a totally silent flock
while feeding, and because a look  at the occurrence charts puts the odds in favour
of short bills.

(I haven't mastered the subtleties of posture and plummage variation between the 
two species.)

Also, still plenty of lesser yellowlegs, several solitary, two spotted and six or seven
least sandpipers. Also one snipe.  Calling of soras in the background.
