Over the last three months 'our' Barred owl has become increasingly tame. I see it almost daily.  Within a couple weeks I've watched it catch a chipmunk in broad daylight and evencough up a pellet. Last evening it was perched on a branch right above our front door. Though I've seen it so many times, I still have to sneak a peek whenever I hear the Wood thrush, Titmice, Robins, and Blue jays going crazy!
Other yard birds in the last two days are  Blackburnian Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, Northern Oriole, Swainson's thrush, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Pewee and Red-eyed Vireos.
