I am 100% certain about the identity of the Black-throated Gray warbler reported at the Magee
boardwalk this afternoon. I observed the bird for at least 1.5 minutes, checking for all possible
traits of the species. This was in good light and in a mostly dead ash tree. The individual was
possibly resighted by Mark Rozmarynowycz at ~6:30pm, though his look was poorly lit and he
was only 90% sure of the identity.

I was actually shocked that when I returned to the boardwalk after a meeting that I didn't see
more people actively seeking out the bird. I guess doubt spreads quickly.
