Dave and all, Yes, I have had Common Grackles kill House Sparrows as well, sometimes not eating them. I do wish the grackles would do a number on the House Sparrows that are decimating my leaf lettuce. The sparrows are tearing it to shreds so I had to put netting over it. Geesh, and I thought I had most garden eating critters out.
