Hello fellow birders,
After getting my pictures reviewed there were 3 cinnamon teals at
Sandy Ridge on Sunday in non breeding plumage. 1 male and 2 females. Sandy
Ridge is a migration stop for waterfowl and does attract many waterfowl.
Also the fields in the entrance area has a very large quantity of what I
believe to be tickseed sunflower which is attracting large numbers of
migrating monarchs and the are at eye level or below as they feed on these
flowers. May the birds ( and butterfles ) be with you, Henry.
