On Sat. Oct. 20, the Darke County Birders held a walk at the Chestnut Street entrance to Shawnee Prairie Preserve on the edge of Greenville. The biggest surprise was a flock of pine siskins that were actively feeding and not paying any attention to us. We all got great views of several birds.
